A leading blue chip organisation requires an experienced LoadRunner Performance Tester. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience using HP LoadRunner. The candidate will have planning experience, scripting, executing test scripts, knowledge of formal testing methodologies including V-Model, load/performance/resilience/stress testing and manual testing experience. Knowledge of programming, particularly C++, is essential.
Candidates should also hold an ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing and HP Mercury LoadRunner certification would also provide an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity as a Junior Test Analyst for a graduate calibre candidate, with some testing competence/awareness, to become a key member of a Leading Testing Consultancy.
To be suitable for this position you should have an IT background and credentials and have attention to detail.
Key tasks and responsibilities: a) Testing applications prior to client review and deployment. b) You will be aware of varying testing strategies and employ these to good effect. c) Executing test plans, writing and implementing test scripts and test scenarios for all forms of testing. d) Identifying, logging and managing issues raised by testing e) You will work closely with business analysts, project managers and technical leads to ensure that any solutions are fit for purpose and free from errors. f) Testing applications prior to client review and deployment.
The successful candidate: a) Minimum 1year experience working in a testing role. b) Good understanding of testing theory and appropriate tools, d) In-depth knowledge of executing test plans, writing and implementing test scripts. e) Acute awareness of users and Client needs which enable you to test not only for error but for functional requirement issues. f) Ability to work with functional specifications and translate them into testing specifications. g) A track record of delivering well tested applications. |
